Game On For A Cure
April 6, 2013 l Chanute

NCCC Panther Baseball, in conjunction with Relay For Life of Neosho County, is presenting "Game On For A Cure" at Hudson Field.  The Panthers will be playing a double-header with Highland Community College, beginning at 1pm.

Various teams fro this year's Relay For Life will be on hand to offer baked goods, beverages, walking tacos, sunflower seeds, peanuts, pickles, coozies, bracelets, magnets and opportunities to win baskets, an autographed KU basketball and the "One of a Kind" cancer awareness ball glove which will be given away between games.

There will be lunches available from 11am to 1pm provided by some of the competitors in this year's Put Up or Shut Up BBQ Faceoff, which will be taking place in the college parking lot about 4:30pm.  These will consist of a pulled pork sandwich, slaw, baked beans and tea or water for $5 each.

The NCCC mixed quartet will be singing the national anthem and Liz Batten and Andy DeVitt will throw out the first pitches.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 12:45pm.
